Leopardstown cancel Day 2 of Christmas festival

Leopardstown have made the decision today to cancel racing next Monday 27th December due to snow and an adverse weather forecast.

This now means the first two days of the Christmas Festival at Leopardstown have been cancelled.

Turf Club officials will make a further inspection of the track on Monday morning to assess the chances of racing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

HRI have a contingency plan in place, with Monday's Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase and the paddypowerpoker.com Future Champions Novice Hurdle due to be rescheduled for Wednesday.
