Further rain is forecast today, upwards of 20mm (approx), clearing overnight. It is set to be mainly dry thereafter. Following 33mm of rain in the last 24 hours Limerick is now heavy. It is set to be mainly dry today in the area with the forecast for up to 8mm (approx) prior to racing tomorrow. Weather conditions are due to be mainly dry over the weekend with the possibility of an occasional passing shower. There will be fresh ground for the hurdle track on Sunday.
