Lethal Weapon for Leopardstown Lethal Weapon is set to put his unbeaten record on the line in the Durkan New Homes Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day. The three-year-old comes into the race on the back of wins at Clonmel and Cork, but even his trainer Christy Roche admits the Gordon Elliott-trained Tharawaat sets the standard. "He'll take his chance all being well. We thought he was a real good ground horse but he has handled the soft well on his last couple of starts," said Roche. "Gordon's horse does look the one to beat. He was impressive at Fairyhouse and the horse that was second to us the last day (Seenya) was a long way behind him so he has the form on the book. "This is the first real test our horse has had. We've campaigned him in the country and now he is stepping up to a higher league so we will just have to see. Let's hope he's up to it."
