Lexington aims to Dash home in Foxrock John McConnell doesn't expect Lexington Dash to be inconvenienced by cut in the ground when he contests the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Sovereign Path' Handicap on the opening day of Irish Champions Weekend at Leopardstown tomorrow. After 16mm of rain since declarations, the going in Leopardstown is now soft with dry weather expected this afternoon into tomorrow. McConnell said: "It is a tough race. He has a chance back at the trip (seven furlongs) he likes. "I don't think the ease in the ground will be any problem. "It is a competitive race but he has his chance and is entitled to go. "We'll give it a crack, he is in good form." Lexington Dash has four victories in his locker including one over seven furlongs at Fairyhouse in July. He has yet to score on ground slower than good.
