Liane on target for Bord Na Mona Yet another name has been added to the potential list of runners in Leopardstown's Bord Na Mona Novice Chase on Boxing Day with River Liane entering the equation. Tom Cooper's five-year-old, who was not far behind Fighting Fifth Hurdle winner Go Native on his first start of the season, was a cosy winner on his chasing debut at Naas. Cooper is not afraid of plunging him straight in against the best after that and with Sizing Europe, Captain Cee Bee and Sports Line already in the mix, a cracking contest is in store. "River Liane missed his engagement at Fairyhouse this week," Cooper told At The Races. "His performance on his debut over fences was given a boost when the second and third behind him (An Cathaoir Mor and Sorceror) finished third and fourth in the race won by Captain Cee Bee yesterday. "He's going to go straight to Leopardstown now for the Grade One Bord Na Mona Novice Chase."
