Paddy Magee added to his magnificent success at Navan this afternoon as Glen Breeze gave him his fourth winner of the day when landing the DAR Golf And Mann Family Handicap at Limerick.

It was also a special win for Joey Sheridan who had ridden the first two winners on the Limerick card and was completing a quick treble on three favourites.

Placed on two of his previous three starts, Glen Breeze was sent off a 5/2 shot and he hit the front a furlong and a half out to beat Danny Murphy’s 28/1 chance Princess Chloe by a length and a quarter in the colours of the Pony Up Syndicate.

Sheridan, who had earlier ridden on the Navan card, said: “It’s great. It’s nice to get my second treble. Nice to ride a winner for Paddy (Magee) too. I’m absolutely delighted for him. To get a four-timer like is just unbelievable.

“I always have a few winners for him and he's a lovely fella. I think he'll improve again, this horse. It looked like this was a good opportunity for him so it's nice to get the job done.”
