The Jessica Harrington trained Lifting Sails is expected to run a big race in the Listed BetMGM River Eden EBF Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield this afternoon.

A lightly raced daughter of Raven's Pass, the three-year-old reached the frame on her first two outings, before building on that promise when getting off the mark at the third attempt.

Having her first run on the all-weather this afternoon, connections are hopeful that there is more to come.

Jockey Shane Foley said: "I don't think it will be a problem (1m5f trip) even though her sister (Ocean Quest) was very fast. She's a filly that seems to stay well.

"She is going to stay in training next year, but if she can get some black-type at three it would be great.

"She was (a ready winner in Bellewstown) - it wasn't the strongest race in the world and he (handicapper) didn't miss her, but we think she is a stakes filly so maybe he was right."
