Lillie clear Guineas favourite Sky Bet reacted to the Group 2 Debutante Stakes success of Lillie Langtry yesterday evening by cutting her a point into 7/1 clear favourite for next year's 1,000 Guineas. Aidan O'Brien's filly enhanced her classic credentials at odds of 2/5 under Johnny Murtagh in the seven furlong event at Leopardstown, leading inside the final furlong to beat stablemate Devoted To You by a length and three quarters. The Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes may be next for the daughter of Danehill Dancer. Matt Doyle of Sky Bet said: "She took time to find her stride, but did it nicely in the end improving for the longer trip and she is now a clear favourite with us for Newmarket next spring." She had been joined at the head of the 1,000 Guineas betting last week by Seta, who remains an 8/1 shot with Sky Bet for the classic after making an impressive eight-length winning debut at Newmarket. A trip to Doncaster next month for the May Hill Stakes is on the cards for Luca Cumani's charge as the trainer's daughter, Francesca, revealed on www.lucacumani.com. "It wasn't a surprise that she won but we weren't expecting her to win by eight lengths and that she was able to do so might indicate that those fillies that she beat weren't up to much. "To put the distance she did between herself and her opponents in such a short time after a modest early gallop is still some feat, but even so we intend stepping her up in trip to a mile in the May Hill Stakes next time and bypass the Prestige at Goodwood. "The trip isn't really the issue, more that being such a tall filly, the configuration of the flat, galloping track at Doncaster will suit Seta much better than the twist and turns of Goodwood, where inexperience could easily catch her out. She's an exciting prospect."
