< The Organ Grinder got off the mark at the third attempt at Limerick to the satisfaction if not the delight of supporters of strong Coventry Stakes fancy Stubbs.

Kevin Prendergast's colt was sent off the 4-11 favourite for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden having taken third spot, albeit at a respectable distance, behind the rising Ballydoyle star at Navan last time.

Chris Hayes didn't have the easiest of times preventing The Organ Grinder from leaning into Keyword when he challenged, but the jockey got the job done and the workmanlike victory could have been by more than three-quarters of a length.

Aidan O'Brien's Bluebell put her experience to good use as she stuck on gamely to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden in the hands of the trainer's son Joseph.

The 7-2 shot seemed to be struggling at one point and looked booked for second when newcomer Pearl Earing loomed up travelling well, but she stuck her neck out and got the verdict by half a length.

There was no such happy ending for another Ballydoyle runner, One True Love who looked sure to score when she came to tackle the front-running Stradater in the Jigabite Playing Live 21st June Maiden.

Fran Berry got a great response when he asked for more from Tommy Stack's lightly raced four-year-old (12-1), who rallied strongly and kept the 2-5 favourite at bay by three-quarters of a length.

Niall McCullagh got up on the line on Eddie Lynam's 3-1 favourite Penny Serenade in the first division of the Library Live Music Bar Handicap and Willie Mullins' in-foal Legal Lyric (7-4 favourite) scythed down the opposition to win the second division under Seamie Heffernan.

Lynam went on to a double when, in a thrilling finish to the feature Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap, Fergal Lynch swooped late on Pearl Of Africa (5-2) to nail the favourite Slipper Orchid for a head victory.
