The feature race at Limerick this bank holiday Monday is the May Bank Holiday Handicap Steeplechase featuring this years James Nicholson Grade 1 chase winner Glenelly Gale from the Arthur Moore stable who is well represented in the race with four other runners including recent winner Jurado Express.

Fiery Ring a previous course and distance winner from the John Fowler stable will appreciate the better ground and will take all the beating. Other interesting winners include Stashedaway and Emperors Guest who will be seeking to give Tony Mullins his first winner.

Other interesting races on this seven race card include the Coyle Hamilton Insurance Beginners Steeplechase, which sees Tom Taaffe's Jonos's Road and Willie Mullins's One Night Out bidding for victory. In the Boogie Nights Maiden Hurdle Noel Meade saddles the Epson Derby runner Louisville who seeks his first victory for his new stable.

Edward O'Grady and Michael Hourigan who both have outstanding records at the track will be worth watching throughout the afternoon with multiple entries between them.
