Limerick charity fundraiser on Thursday Press release from Limerick Racecourse On Thursday 1st December 2011, join Limerick Racecourse at the Cresent Shopping Centre, Dooradoyle from 4-7pm as we ride to Cheltenham to raise funds for Pieta House and the Injured Jockeys Fund. Come aboard the racehorse simulator and test your skills as a jockey at a fast paced evening of fun and entertainment. There will be some stars of the turf including Andrew McNamara, Derek O'Connor, Ken Whelan and Brian O'Connell riding the simulator so come along and enjoy a festive mince pie or two! There will be face-painters in attendance also as Limerick Racecourse launch their 4 day Christmas Festival which runs from 26th-29th December. Everyone is welcome so join us for an evening of entertainment from 4pm.
