Following an early morning inspection, the track at Limerick was passed fit for racing and today’s meeting goes ahead.

There had been some waterlogged patches on the hurdles course but a drying wind has meant that it is now raceable.

The first of seven races goes to post at 1.45pm and the ground is heavy.

There’s also an eight-race card at Naas with the first getting under way at 1.30pm.

The ground is soft to heavy, heavy in places on the chase course and soft on the hurdles/bumper course on which there is fresh ground. There's a chance of showers throughout the day.
