Limerick now heavy, soft to heavy in places

The ground at Limerick is now heavy, soft to heavy in places ahead of their jumps card tomorrow.

There was no rain over the last 24 hours at Greenmount Park and the forecast is mainly dry.

Action kicks off at 2.00pm tomorrow and it is now an eight-race card with the addition of two races from last Saturday's cancelled meeting.

The Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Steeplechase (Grade 3) and the Kevin McManus Bookmaker Champion 4-Y-O (Pro-Am) Flat Race (Listed) have been added to this meeting.

The Greemount Park Beginners Steeplechase, originally due to be held tomorrow, was deleted from the meeting.

Patrons to the student raceday tomorrow are being advised to allow extra travel time and follow the traffic management plan which will be in place.

Cork race on Sunday and the going there remains heavy following 3mm of rain overnight.

Showers are forecast for the coming days.
