Following watering, a breezy day and just 1mm of rain overnight, Limerick is now good to firm, firm in places (watering ongoing). There will be a precautionary inspection at 9am tomorrow morning to determine if the fixture scheduled to take place on Thursday, 29 May can go ahead.

Paul Moloney, IHRB Clerk of the Course at Limerick said: “Watering commenced at Limerick yesterday but after a breezy day with just 1mm of rain, which was less rain than was forecast, the ground has tightened and is now good to firm, firm in places.

“Watering is ongoing at the track today and will continue tomorrow but given that we do have a mainly dry and warm forecast prior to racing, we will have a precautionary inspection at 9am on Thursday morning to determine if the track is fit for National Hunt racing tomorrow evening.”
