Listowel next for Green Baily Green will head to the Listowel Festival later this month after recording his fourth successive victory at Killarney on Saturday. The Mouse Morris-trained six-year-old was competing in Grade One novice chases last winter and a subsequent breathing operation has seen him raise his game. Having notched a hat-trick of wins over fences since late May, Baily Green reverted to the smaller obstacles for the valuable K.W.D. Handicap Hurdle and got the better of Domination by a nose in a thrilling finish. "I was delighted with him yesterday. He's a chaser really but there weren't any races for him coming up over fences, so we switched him back to hurdles and it was a nice pot for him to win," said Morris. "He's always been a good horse and has run in some good races, but he wasn't getting home so he had a wind operation and that seems to have helped. "He'll probably go to Listowel next and go back over fences, then we'll probably give him a break. "He's crying out for better ground so we'll probably leave him off during the winter and then bring him back in the spring."
