Lucky 13 for Muzak Muzak opened his account at the 13th attempt when making all under Sean Flanagan in the two mile handicap hurdle. Flanagan, who ended a long losing run aboard Gamede at Naas on Wednesday, was seen to good effect driving the grey into a decisive five length advantage approaching the straight. The eight-year-old gelding kept on gamely on the run-in to hold off Whiskey And Rye by two and a half lengths, with an eight length gap back to Barneys Honour in third. “He's a nice little horse and deserved the win. He wants better ground but it worked out fine today. He'll probably run next at Cork later this month,” said trainer John Monroe.
