Lupini hoping for another successful campaign Natalia Lupini has added some firepower to her stable ahead of the 2026 Flat season. Dunum Primed for Return and Galway Targets The Armagh-based trainer has really made a mark on Irish racing in the past few seasons and is hopeful of another successful campaign this year. Dunum has been a real star for the yard with high profile wins at Galway in 2023 and 2025 and a return to Ballybrit is on the cards for the eight-year-old. "We have a nice team of horses. We have a nice bunch of two-year-olds and they are looking nice at the moment along with the three-year-olds and the older handicappers,” said Lupini. "We will hopefully see Dunum out at the end of March, start of April, when the ground conditions will suit him. Then he will head to Galway, he loves there and always turns up there. Private Purchases Bolster 2026 Squad "We have a couple of new horses that are quite highly rated. We bought a couple privately, they were at the sales and didn't get sold. “Hellorhighwater was a maiden winner in Cork over a mile for Gavin Cromwell. He's a nice-looking, big horse and we are looking forward to getting him out. "Another horse that we think could possibly do well is Zia Zabel. He was second in a Curragh maiden. He is a big, strong horse by Ghaiyyath and wasn't a two-year-old, better as a three-year-old." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
