Lynam duo in Palace frame Eddie Lynam intends to run both Sole Power and Anthem Alexander in the Pearl Bloodstock Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday. Lynam, who has earned a reputation as being the king of the sprinters in recent years thanks to the exploits of Sole Power and Slade Power, has even more strings to his bow this year. Queen Mary winner Anthem Alexander was due to run at Naas on Monday evening but the ground went against her, so she could now take on her well established stablemate. Sole Power finally gained a victory in Dubai last month after several near-misses but he will carry a hefty penalty. "Sole Power and Anthem Alexander will probably both run in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday," said Lynam. "They are expecting some rain but it's good to firm at the moment and they probably need a bit of rain." The likes of Muthmir, Mecca's Angel, Hot Streak, Kingsgate Native and Stepper Point are among a 16-strong entry for the Group Three.
