Lynam hoping things fall right for Power Edward Lynam is looking forward to running Sole Power in the Group One King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday. The Co. Meath handler is praying for a scorching gallop to give his Nunthorpe and Temple Stakes winner every chance of adding to his major triumphs. "He doesn't do much between (races) but he seems in very good form and we're looking forward to next week," Lynam told At The Races. "He's a bit in and out, he needs things to fall his way, but he proved himself in the Temple. Hopefully he'll be able to run another big race at Ascot and possibly York afterwards. "He's at his best when they look to have gone too fast. When they go very quick he's at his best. "He'd have gone another 100 yards at Haydock as once he settles he'll stay. He doesn't even get five furlongs if he doesn't settle. When he does, he's easy to ride. "Providing we get good or faster ground at Ascot and the draw isn't an issue, I think he'll give punters a run for their money."
