Lynch eyes Punchestown return for Zabana Andrew Lynch's stable star Zabana could return to action at Punchestown in mid-October. After a mishap at the start at Cheltenham, the chestnut gelding claimed the Grade One Growise Champion Novice Chase on his next outing at the Punchestown Festival. Lynch is now eyeing a tilt at the Grade Three Irish Daily Star Chase, a race which has been won by Gold Cup hero Don Cossack for the last two years. "He is back in around six weeks and he has done well over the summer, he is big and strong. Hopefully he will run around the middle of October, there is a race in Punchestown for him," Lynch said. "We are just going to take it one step at a time with him, and not look too far ahead. Three miles is his trip and he'll run on anything barring heavy (ground)."
