Ger Lyons posted his 50th winner of the year through Banana Three in Dundalk yesterday and his stable have plenty to look forward to in the new year with Sakti.

This filly earned a rating of 103 on the back of a trio of runner-up berths in seven-furlong races including in Group 2 and Group 3 company at the Curragh.

She holds an entry in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and a step up in trip is very much on the agenda.

Assistant trainer Shane Lyons said: "We can't wait for a mile on better ground for her.

"Strengthening up is her issue. She's a big filly for a Caravaggio but she will only get stronger when she fills into her frame over the winter.

"She has a great temperament from her dad and has a good pedigree.

"We are really looking forward to her - the aim would be a Guineas trial or even a maiden.

"She wants nice ground and that's when you will see her at her best."
