MacMahon hopeful ahead of Stratford raid Four time Champion Lady point-to-point rider and now trainer, Clare MacMahon sends both Jamsie Hall and newcomer Tahrir Square over to Stratford on Tuesday evening. Jamsie Hall runs in the penultimate race on the card, a 2m 7f Novices’ Chase. This fellow won two point-to-point's earlier this year before winning a Hunters Chase at Downpatrick just last month. He again ran in Hunter Chase company on his last start at Listowel, where he finished just three lengths second to Chrisdonlady. He faces just five rivals in tomorrow contest and speaking this evening his trainer was hopeful of a big run. She said: "I got him around August of last year (from Andrew Lynch) and he just needed a change of scenery. That's why I campaigned him in point-to-point's. "He has progressed nicely and he should like the summer ground. Jason Maguire rides him I would expect him to run well." Thirty minutes later MacMahon saddles newcomer Tahrir Sqaure with Conor O'Farrell aboard in the last race on the card, a bumper over two miles. This looks a decent affair with Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson both represented. MacMahon said of her Catcher in the Rye gelding: "He is a lovely horse, but it is his first run and I would expected him to come on for it. "He might be a bit green but I would still expected him to run well enough." Donal Murphy
