The Danny Murphy-trained colt bounced out smartly and made the running in the five-furlong contest.

Shane Foley was scrubbing along on his mount at halfway to maintain that advantage. He had a willing partner though in the Bungle Inthejungle colt who kept on well inside the final furlong. The Right One gave chase in the closing stages but could only get within half-a-length.

Methodtomy Madness was taking a significant step forward from his first two runs and Murphy said:-

Murphy said: "Shane Foley is probably one of the best jockeys in Ireland, and brave, because this horse was taken out of the parade ring in Cork - I was very disappointed because we had a 10lb claimer on him.

"He's just a big baby, but I said to Shane that he's a typical one of mine, good out of the gates, give him a kick and I promise you this horse will win!

"I'm so happy this horse won because he had a bad name this horse. He's a nice horse.

"The owner is over in Doncaster, lets hope they buy a few good ones!

"I'll definitely keep him on the go, I might put him in the Legacy Stakes (Listed in Dundalk)."
