The County Meath trainer can choose from I Shot The Sheriff, The Plan Man and Pyromaniac in the limited handicap over two miles. I Shot The Sheriff is particularly interesting, having won his last two starts and finishing second in another after returning from a near two-year lay-off. The Paul Nicholls-trained Irving heads the weights after 20 horses stood their ground at the five-day stage. Other possibles include Cheltenham Champion Hurdle seventh Bertimont, Melodic Rendezvous, Sign Of A Victory, Cheltenian and Calipto.
