Ante-post favourite Maybe tops 21 fillies left in Sunday's Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Aidan O'Brien's daughter of Galileo won all five starts last season, culminating in a Group One success in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh.

Potentially joining her in Sunday's Group One are stablemates Homecoming Queen, Up and Wonderful, whilst the Coolmore team may also be represented by David Wachman's Fire Lily.

The Irish challenge looks set to dominate, with Jim Bolger's Alla Speranza, Ger Lyons' Lightening Pearl and Kevin Prendergast's La Collina all amongst the entries.

Godolphin, hoping to repeat the win of Blue Bunting last year, will saddle Discourse and Lyric Of Light, whilst John Gosden will rely on a duo of Starscope and The Fugue.

Jean-Claude Rouget's Mashoora is the sole challenger from across the Channel, whils the only runner to be supplemented at the latest entry stage was the Ralph Beckett runner Moonstone Magic.

The field is completed by the William Haggas-trained Diala, Charles Hills' Gray Pearl, Mick Channon's pair Laugh Out Loud and Nayarra, Richard Fahey's Lily's Angel, Ed McMahon's Radio Gaga and Peter Chapple-Hyam's Sunday Times.
