McAuley & Gough take cross-channel option

County Meath based trainer James McAuley launches a big cross-channel raid over the next couple of days with four of his charges in action today at Wolverhampton.

Enigma Code goes in the 2.15 with Ben Curtis up, Time Travel contests the 3.15 also with Curtis up and last term's apprentice champion (shared with Gary Carroll and Joseph O'Brien) is on Fog Cutter in the 4.15 and Breezed Well in the 5.45 too. This quartet will sport the well-known silks of James Gough.

Meanwhile tomorrow at Worcester McAuley and Gough send Failed The Test (Paddy Brennan booked), Broad Meaning (Robert Thornton) and Warrants A Name (Paddy Brennan again) into battle.

Other Irish trainers with runners across the pond today are Mark McNiff with Whisky Galore (now a non-runner) in the 9.10 at Southwell and Ian Browne with Philorian in 3.45 and Fortunelini in the same race at Wolverhampton.
