McConnell excited by Kingside Lady Trainer John McConnell is hopeful of further success with Kingside Lady who made a winning hurdling debut at Wexford earlier this month. Bought for 100,000 euro in May, shortly after winning a point-to-point for Sean Doyle, the Kingston Hill filly disappointed on Rules debut in a Bellewstown bumper before proving a different proposition with obstacles back in front of her. "She was a totally different filly when we schooled her (over hurdles), she really is electric to jump," said McConnell. "That's why we went straight over hurdles, and we thought she had a good chance, I don't know how she started 33/1. She did it well and she will be one for baby steps, she's only a four-year-old. "She could be one for the north of England for another run, and then we will see where we are. "She is a novice now until the end of April, so we have to use it. "There's more to come from her."
