McGuinness eyeing Kelso pot with Angel Ado McGuinness is eyeing a big pot at Kelso next month with Annie’s Angel. The Dark Angel filly chased home The Procrastinator on a visit to Hereford on Wednesday and the Lusk handler is hoping there is more to come from the grey over hurdles. She was making her second outing over jumps then and McGuinness now has his sights set on the £100,000 Herring Queen Series Final at Kelso next month. "We were runner-up in Hereford, unfortunately. We nearly snuck it (a hurdle winner) away!” said McGuinness. "Fingers crossed, she will win sometime. "I was delighted with the run, she hasn't got that much experience but she jumped really well. It was very heavy. "She qualifies to run in a big race in Kelso, a hundred grand race next month, so we will have a look and see." (Michael Graham)
