McNamara completes the Fab Four Amateur jockey Robbie McNamara can walk on water at present and amazingly completed four consecutive winning rides at Galway this week when steering unconsidered 33/1 chance and racecourse newcomer Coronea Lily to win the concluding Guinness Storehouse Bumper today. McNamara rides Galway better than most, a fact not lost on winning trainer David Marnane who, almost in disbelief, reported “that was a fantastic ride! At all stages in the race you could you say he was in the correct position – he is very good around here!” Marnane added “Coronea Lily was placing in point to points but we have her about three months and the few bits of fast work seemed to have sharpened her up. She isn’t a bad filly and should have a good future.”
