McNamara in line for Osana ride Andrew McNamara is in line for the ride on the David Pipe trained Osana in the Smurfit Cappa Champion Hurdle on March 10. Pipe confirmed McNamara had schooled Osana during the week and speaking at Thurles today McNamara stated "Osana is owned by Thomas Barr, who also owns the Edward O'Grady trained Bringbackthebiff, who I won chase on at Gowran recently." However McNamara added "obviously if Edward O'Grady's Catch Me runs in the 'Champion' I'll be retained to ride him but Osana would be a lovely ride to get. I schooled him during the week and all went well."
