Meade & Keane team up to win Naas Oaks Trial Available at 20/1 this morning, Caught U Sleeping was returned an 11/1 chance as she left behind two moderate runs this season to take the Darley Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial Stakes under Colin Keane. A winner and Listed-placed as a juvenile but only eighth in both outings this term, the daughter of Cotai Glory was stepping up in trip to a mile and a-quarter for the first time. Close to the pace from the start, she hit the front early in the straight to beat La Fogata by three-parts of a length.  Winning trainer Noel Mead said "Tony O'Callaghan owns most of her with Tony Clarke and, last Monday when she ran at the Curragh, I was coming back and he said 'what do you think?' and, I said, 'to be honest with you Tony, I was nearly going to run her next Saturday instead of running her over a mile because I think a mile is too short' and he said 'do you really think that?' and, I said 'I do but I'd feel like a fool if I ran her over the mile-and-a-quarter and she didn't get it'. He said that I should go and run her again, that he wouldn't stop me.  "Colin said she'll get a mile-and-a-half. He said that's what she wants. She's short of a gear but she keeps going well. She just doesn't quicken up that well but she can keep up a good gallop. Anyway, I'm delighted with her. Thrilled."  Additional reporting by John O'Riordan
