Medermit for Huntingdon on Wednesday Arkle Chase favourite Medermit is set to face three rivals at Huntingdon on Wednesday. The Alan King-trained six-year-old was unextended on his chasing debut at Aintree last month and now tackles the Tom Jones Memorial Htj Centre Ltd Novices' Chase. King told his website: "He scored a bloodless first victory over fences at Aintree, but I am keen to take the quiet route as it is all part of his education and it is important to get the experience into him before we start taking on the better novices." Wednesday's assignment will see him pitched in against recent Fontwell scorer, Harry Tricker, Hi Tide and the returning Sergeant Pink from the in-form Steve Gollings stable.
