Memory on course for Moyglare

Memory remains on target to defend her unbeaten record in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on August 29th.

The Richard Hannon-trained filly will attempt to add a Group One over seven furlongs to her already illustrious CV.

Her 100% success rate over six furlongs includes wins in the Group Three Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group Two Cherry Hinton Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting.

And the form was given a boost when Soraaya and Margot Did, the horses who were second in those two races, fought out the finish to the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot last weekend.

"Touch-wood, she's in great form. I spoke to Richard Hannon on Friday and he's happy with her," said Harry Herbert, racing manager to owners Highclere Thoroughbred Racing.

"We'll enter her for the Prix Morny, but the plan is to run her in the Moyglare in Ireland.

"The form is red hot, obviously, after the Princess Margaret and the Cherry Hinton, which is lovely."
