Memphis set to tackle stakes company again City Of Memphis looks set to step back into stakes company at Leopardstown on Sunday. The Paddy Twomey-trained filly, fifth in last season’s Irish 1,000 Guineas, holds an entry in the Group 3 Al Shira’aa Racing ‘Mutamakina’ Stakes. She made a winning return this season with a smooth success in a conditions race at Gowran Park last month and Twomey is now eyeing black-type with the daughter of Sioux Nation. “She’s in on Sunday. I’m very happy with her and she might run,” said the Golden handler. “It looks like a good next step for her. She’s taken all the steps and I definitely think she could run there.”
