Mengli Khan out to make it 3rd time lucky for Henderson Grade One winner Mengli Khan, who signed off in Ireland with a stylish success at Ballinrobe in September, bids to make it third time lucky for Nicky Henderson at Kempton this afternoon. The Lope De Vega gelding hasn’t always been a friend to punters, with several beaten favourite tags dotted through his past form, including last time at Lingfield. However he is one from one when it comes to racing at Kempton, that coming for Hugo Palmer as a three-year-old back in 2016. The former Gigginstown House Stud-owned and Gordon Elliott-trained runner will today be ridden by Nico de Boinville, and it should be a decent heat between himself, Earlofthecotswolds, On The Slopes and San Benedeto.
