Milly 'safe and sound' after Chepstow fall Famous Milly is reported to be none the worse following her heavy fall Coral Future Champions Finale Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow on Saturday. Gavin Cromwell's four-year-old had earned her tilt at the Grade One contest with a runaway victory in a Listed contest in similarly testing conditions at Aintree. However, she was already beaten when coming to grief at the final flight and while she was winded on the ground for a while, she got to her feet and returned to Ireland safe and sound. Cromwell, who claimed Welsh Grand National glory with the 13-year-old Raz De Maree on the same card, said: "Famous Milly has come out of it fine, thank god. "She was just getting tired and was winded for a while, but she came home safe and sound and was out in the paddock with Raz De Maree on Sunday morning. "We won't make any plans for her just yet."
