The Dermot Weld trained Pale Mimosa took the Listed British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E.B.F. Fillies Galtres Stakes at York this afternoon under Pat Smullen.

The Dr Ronan Lambe owned 3yo was last seen winning her maiden at the Galway Festival where she beat Buckingham Gate by an easy fifteen lengths.

Sent off the 9/4 second favourite today, she tracked leaders early on before making headway to lead over two furlongs out.

She kept on well in front and went on towards the finish to score by two and a half lengths at the line.

The Michael Stoute trained Sequence was sent off the 13/8 favourite and she finished second under Richard Hughes.
