Minnaloushe among Sussex Stakes entries Black Minnaloushe heads a group of 13 horses from Ballydoyle left in the Champagne Lanson Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on August 1st.Other Aidan O`Brien possibles include Bach, Mozart, Minardi and Mull Of Kintyre.Sir Michael Stoute`s Medicean is also among the 30 acceptors. The four-year-old has won all three of his starts this season, including victories in the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes and Coral Eurobet Eclipse Stakes.Stoute could also be represented in the Group One contest by No Excuse Needed, who met with serious trouble in running when finishing fifth in the St James`s Palace stakes, beaten just two and a quarter lengths by Aidan O`Brien`s Black Minnaloushe.Godolphin have three contenders, headed by French 2000 Guineas winner Noverre.Distant Music, champion two-year-old of 1999, but lightly-raced since, has been left in by Barry Hills, as has his Greenham Stakes winner Munir.
