Minnaloushe installed as Goodwood favourite Black Minnaloushe has been installed favourite to come out on top once again in a mouthwatering rematch of the St James`s Palace Stakes in the Champagne Lanson Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday.At Royal Ascot, Black Minnaloushe defeated Noverre by a neck with Olden Times a head back in third and the unlucky-in-running No Excuse Needed a close fifth.All four three-year-olds renew rivalry in Wednesday`s Stg£275,000 Group One contest and Aidan O`Brien`s colt is the 9-4 market leader with Coral Eurobet.Black Minnaloushe has since finished fifth in the Coral Eurobet Eclipse Stakes.Godolphin`s Noverre will also be on a recovery mission having lost the French 2000 Guineas after testing positive for a prohibited substance.No Excuse Needed will be out to make amends for his rough passage in the closing stages at the Royal meeting.Joe Mercer, racing manager to his owner Maktoum Al Maktoum, said: 'No Excuse Needed is in great form.'Black Minnaloushe was one of the horses that caused interference to our horse and if you keep on watching the race at Ascot No Excuse Needed had to be first or second at the line.'It was just unfortunate.
