Moorish Castle completes Sligo double for Fahy and Mullins Having been amongst the winners earlier on the card, trainer Pat Fahy and jockey Danny Mullins combined for a second time to complete a double as Moorish Castle made all to land the concluding Solar Generation Handicap Hurdle at Sligo. Leading from flag fall, Mullins showed once again what an astute judge of pace he is, keeping enough in reserve when challenged in the straight. Ian O'Connors Boston Rajj looked a real threat from two out and actually jumped upsides the eventual winner at the final flight. However, Mullins kept enough up his sleeve aboard the 25/1 outsider to post a half-length victory. Pat Fahy said: "This fella is out of a good mare, The Green Lady, that I trained, so he has the breeding and the size, but Danny made the difference. "I didn't give him any instructions, just let him do his own thing, and that's what I usually do. "It was the same when I was able to get Ruby. I'd have horses with bits and pieces of form, but unable to win, and I'd put Ruby on them and they'd win, simple at that. Danny is my new Ruby! "I probably fancied the third horse (Spanish John) a bit more, and I was delighted with his run too. "It's great for George Moore. He's an extremely loyal owner and were it not for the likes of him, I wouldn't be here." (Quotes by Mark Nunan)
