Moran lands bumper prize in Canada Jockey Davy Moran had the biggest win of his career to date when partnering Roan Inish to victory in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Woodbine yesterday. This race is the premier contest for Canadian bred two-year-olds and boasts a total purse of $232,000. Moran picked up the ride through his association with the Jim Bolger stable where the filly was trained until recently. Roan Inish raced three times this season in Ireland when in the care of Bolger including when finishing second on her debut at the Curragh in June. Owner Robert Costigan took the filly back to Canada last month and his daughter Carolyn is looking after the training duties.
