Moreira's nap hand at Sha Tin Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira rode the first five winners of the new season on today's card at Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Among the five was the feature race on board Seasons Bloom in the HK$2.5M Hksar Chief Executive's Cup (handicap). The 'Magic Man' started out as an apprentice in his home country in 2005/2006. He rode eight winners from eight rides at Kranji racecourse in Singapore in September 2013. The 32-year-old has been Champion Jockey in Hong Kong three times (2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17).
