Morning inspection for Punchestown

Due to a Status Yellow weather warning for rain and the possibility of 10-15mm (approx) of rain through to the end of racing, there will be a 7.30am inspection at Punchestown ahead of tomorrow's scheduled meeting which is due to start at 1.40pm.

Clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan explained, at 5pm this afternoon, "It's been dry so far today and the ground remains heavy. The weather warning comes into effect at 11pm tonight and, from then until the end of racing tomorrow, there is the possibility that we could get a further 10-15mm of rain."
