Morris hoping for big end to season Mouse Morris feels his string are coming back into form and is hoping for a positive end to the season. By his own admission, the Fethard-based handler has endured a disappointing campaign and sent just one horse to the Cheltenham Festival, but Dromnea performed respectably to finish seventh in the novice handicap chase. Morris said: "He didn't disgrace us anyway. He ran well. "I think the horses are just coming back to themselves now. They just weren't firing earlier in the season. "They seem in better shape now and I'm hoping for a better spring. It couldn't get any worse than it has been."
