Morrison Fires Starzaan Warning Shot

Hughie Morrison has warned Starzaan will need the race when he returns to action after a long lay-off at Windsor on Saturday.

The six-year-old is being thrown in at the deep end against Inglis Drever in the Grade One totesport Long Walk Hurdle after being sidelined with a leg problem that has kept him off the track for 20 months.

'He´s an intended runner on Saturday but will need the run,' said Morrison. 'He had a little leg problem last year and has taken a while to come to hand this year.

'Three miles first time out on sticky ground is going to take a bit of getting. It´s just really a run to get him ready for later.'
