Movember appeal ends at Fairyhouse The national Movember Campaign which raises awareness for prostate & testicular cancer and mens health in general concludes today with Fairyhouse on Sunday hosting a 'shave-off' involving jockeys and trainers. Twenty jockeys and three trainers took up the challenge and the first shave-off will be after the first race in the parade ring. The rest will be in the Jameson Stand continuing throughout the day and finally Michael O'Leary will shave Davy Russell in the parade ring before the bumper. Among the jockeys taking part are Davy Russell, John Cullen, Andrew McNamara and Ken Whelan while the three trainers are Paul Nolan, Philip Rothwell and Colm Murphy. Those involved can be sponsored online at the movember.com website and most are carrying sponsorship cards as well.
