Paul Nolan is eyeing the Champion Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown for Mrs Milner after her clear-cut success at Cheltenham.

The six-year-old mare stormed home by five lengths in the Grade 3 Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle at the festival to potentially earn a crack at Grade One company.

The trainer said: “The better ground helped her as she went to the line stronger on it.

“She’s going to be 140-plus now and we’ll see what we are going to put her in at Punchestown. She could go for the Stayers' Hurdle getting 7lb as I don’t think there is any point thinking about a handicap now with a small mare."

Meanwhile, Nolan is mulling over options for his star chaser Latest Exhibition.

“We still have to decide between the Irish National and the Grade One novice at Fairyhouse for Latest Exhibition," he said.

“If the ground is on the better side he’d probably run in the National.

“Envoi Allen would also have a big bearing on whether we go for the novice as I certainly wouldn’t want to be taking him on again.”

Latest Exhibition was last seen finishing runner-up to his old rival Monkfish in the Grade One novice chase over an extended two miles five furlongs at the Dublin Racing Festival in Leopardstown last month.
