Mullins equals Weld's Listowel festival record Champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins was crowned leading trainer at Listowel’s harvest festival today, with his yard dominating the weekly prizes. Mullins’ impressive 11-winner haul for the week equals Dermot Weld’s previous record achieved for the week in 1994 (when a six-day meeting), while stable jockey Paul Townend today collected the leading jockey award. Mullins’ son Patrick was the leading amateur jockey while Julian Pietropaolo, with two wins on Dragon Of Malta, was leading apprentice Flat jockey. Both full professional Flat jockeys Shane Foley and Joey Sheridan also scored twice at the festival meeting.
