Mullins happy with Melbourne trio Patrick Mullins reports the yard's three Melbourne Cup runners in fine fettle - most noticeably Max Dynamite. The Rich Ricci-owned seven-year-old finished third behind Rekindling, having also occupied second spot two years ago. Stablemates Thomas Hobson and Wicklow Brave finished sixth and 10th respectively. Mullins said: "Max Dynamite ran a cracker. The low draw was key. "Thomas Hobson was undone with his draw. Wicklow Brave broke too slowly and ran on. "They all paid for the trip, though, so that was good. "Max Dynamite looked like he could run the race again. He came out of the race the best of the three of them. "Hopefully we can go back down there again."
