Jockey Danny Mullins has lodged an appeal with the Turf Club regarding the 14-day suspension imposed on him by the Bellewstown Stewards last Friday.

Mullins received the ban after a bizarre incident where the rider drove an ambulance around the racecourse in order to return to the jockeys' room to weigh-out for a subsequent race.

The Stewards found Mullins in breach of rule 272 which governs behaviour that is prejudicial to the integrity, conduct and good reputation of racing.
